Importing the Customisations

Child Theme Support

Please follow the links in order. Should you require further support with setting up your child theme, please contact us. Please ensure that your query is child theme specific as we only offer support on your purchased child theme. To add your text and images, please refer to the Elegant Themes website for more information. Please remember to enable the Divi Builder on all pages and posts unless otherwise stated.

Included in the download are 6 importable files.

  • Content XML File
  • Divi Theme Options
  • Divi Theme Builder
  • Divi Customizer
  • Divi Builder Layouts
  • Bloom .json file

To alleviate slow server imports (specifically the Divi Builder Layouts into the library), I have included an Xml file (Content File) for import into:

WordPress >> Tools >> Scroll to the bottom and activate the import plugin and then follow the wizard.

I do not offer support on this method, as this is a 3rd party plugin, but this file will import the content, pages, menu’s and layouts in the library. If you use this method, there is no need to import the Divi Builder layouts, but the theme customizer, Divi theme builder layouts and theme options import will still apply.

You can then set your menu’s on the WP menu screen and set the home page only in Settings >> Reading.

Ignore the 2nd drop down box, as Divi uses static pages for the blog page.

Important: Please note you must swop out any placeholder images, as they will be hotlinked to my server and should they not be,  this may incur issues with images should the demo files be deleted.

Go to the Bloom link on the WordPress menu (left hand side)

Import the Bloom json file included in your theme purchase and save.

Ensure that there are two optin imports (One inline optin and one widget optin)

To connect your email account, please follow the documentation for the Bloom Plugin settings here.
