Child Theme Support

Please follow the links in order. Should you require further support with setting up your child theme, please contact us. Please ensure that your query is child theme specific as we only offer support on your purchased child theme.

To add your text and images, please refer to the Elegant themes website for more information. Please remember to enable the Divi Builder on all pages and posts unless otherwise stated.

Importing the Demo Content:

On the WordPress Menu go to:

Tools >> Import

Scroll down to the bottom where it says ‘WordPress Install Importer’ and click on this. This will import the WP import/export plugin.

Follow the prompts and import the relate.WordPress.2020-04-19.

You may see  whole lot of media files have not been imported, but this is normal. Post images are not imported with this file.  The demo layouts are now on all the pages and can be edited.

If you get stuck setting up the menu’s, visit this link for a tutorial on how to set up your menu in WordPress.

Now that the menu’s are set up, we need to set a static front page.

Go to Theme Customiser and select Static Front page, set the Front Page display to ‘Static Page’ and select the home page of your choice in the drop down box of the ‘Front Page’. Then save.

Blog Post Set up

There are no layouts in the library for the posts. The theme uses the native WordPress wyzywig editor. Select the sidebar you want to in the top metabox to the right.

Footer and Header

To edit the footer and header, go to the Divi Theme Builder and edit the modules under ‘Custom Header & custom footer’ in green.
